Aaron Sanchez, with his third stint on the DL. The constant use of
the 10 day DL means you need to be watching players that are banged
up and keep an eye on the Waiver Wire to keep your team churning.

last week alone. Grab him while he’s on this streak.

Alex
Cobb SP Rays –
Cobb has strung
together four straight quality starts in a row with just 8 earned
runs over 27.1 frames for the Rays. That has dropped his seasonal ERA
to 3.67 and with two starts for week eight Cobb makes for a nice plug
and play option.

Alex
Wood RP/SP Dodgers –
Wood has helped
alleviate injury problems in the Dodgers rotation with three quality
starts over his last five outings, but more importantly 0 runs
allowed in four of his last five trips to the mound. The young lefty
has punched out 38 batters over his last 33 innings and has an ERA of

be owned in all leagues and formats.

Jose
Berrios SP Twins –
Berrios
has responded since his call up from Triple A with just one earned
run allowed spanning 15.1 innings for the Twinkies. Minnesota’s top
hurler in their farm system has K’ed 15 batters while just allowing
just 2 walks and 4 hits and is worth owning with these kinds of
stats.

Cory
Knebel RP Brewers –
Knebel has
ascended to the closers’ role for the Brew Crew and is 3 for 3 so
far, but the bigger eye opener is 38 punch outs over 22 innings for a
15.5 K/9 ratio. Throw in an ERA of 0.82 and WHIP of 1.05 and Knebel
is the closer of choice for owners help in their pen.
