The royal family is not happy about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s multi-million deal with Netflix, according to ET. Their projects will include scripted series, docuseries, documentaries, features and children’s programming.

The deal—worth an estimated $100 million—has given them financial freedom, and allowed them to repay UK taxpayers for costly updates they made on Frogmore Cottage. But the Queen and others are reportedly miffed because they initially agreed to a one-year review period following their official exit from senior royal duties in January.

Some members are also reportedly worried that the project could be a distraction from other charitable initiatives put in place by other senior royals.

FIRST PROJECT

Meanwhile, details about their first project for the streamer are emerging. Meghan is reportedly pitching a documentary about Black Lives Matter‘s co-founder Patrisse Cullors. The Duchess hopes to produce a documentary after being “blown away by the incredible work Patrisse has done.”
