Think Heinz’s Mayochup was wack? It’s got nothing on French’s Mustard Ice Cream, which will be available during the week of August 3–that’s National Mustard Day!–in New York and Los Angeles. Produced in collaboration with the L.A.-based ice cream company Coolhaus, French’s frozen, yellow offering is “not that bad,” writes People, which adds, “The initial flavor you experience is not mustard, but sweet hints of cotton candy and bubble gum ice cream. Once you get to bites two or three, though, it really hits you: that unmistakable tang that makes you want a hot dog real bad.”
